In preparation for the Fall Town Hall "Oklahoma Votes...," we're holding listening sessions in each of our membership regions throughout the Summer. These outreach events include a 30 minute listening session that asks participants to identify what contributes to poor voter engagement in Oklahoma and share ideas about how to remedy the problem. The aggregate of all the sessions will be presented to Town Hall participants to give them a broader understanding of how Oklahomans view the election process, voter access, and informed voter engagement.
We've already held two listening sessions in the metro OKC region, and we have sessions planned for Edmond, Eufaula, Enid, and Norman. Details for each of those events are below. If you would like to be involved in planning an event in your community, please contact your regional membership chair or our membership vice president Michael Gordon.
