Community Meetings & 2017 Town Hall Focus of Board Meeting

Forty-five members of the Academy’s board were in attendance to review the organization’s 2016 activities and chart the course for 2017 and early 2018. During the meeting, the 2016 officers were acknowledged and thanked for their leadership,  and the 2017 officers and new members of the board were announced and welcomed. The board members discussed the upcoming Spring and Summer community meetings and listening sessions, along with the October 2017 Town Hall.

Introducing New Academy Leaders

We are fortunate to have involvement and leadership from many talented, invested individuals from across the state. Several of our founding board members are still involved today, and we have many members and board members who have decades of participation and involvement with the organization under their belts. Also vitally important to our work, is the recruitment of new people to our membership and leadership. Along with their fresh energy, they bring new insights, new connections and new discussions.
